Housing & Community Development

Division Overview

The Housing and Community Development (HCD) Division administers the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME funds received from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds are for the purpose of addressing the housing and community development needs of lower income households.

HCD also administers the City's Below Market Rate Housing program and funding programs related to increasing and maintaining the supply of affordable housing.
