This event will feature special guests focusing on Celebrating the Black Family Through Spoken Word, The Impact of Covid-19 on the Health & Wellness (Mental Health) of the Black Family, and the LGBT/Queer Black Family Representation.
Come join us at this engaging Black History Month virtual celebration aimed to celebrate and explore different dimensions of Black family representation within the Black community.
Cultural Arts performances spotlighting the Alvin Ailey Dance Ensemble, Issac Stevenson (Jazz Singer), local family talent acts, and KanKouran West African Dance.
Interactive Wellness Break, Soul Food Cooking Demonstration, African American Trivia, Community Shout Outs, “Door Prize” drawings, and more planned to foster connectivity.
