On Sunday 8/27, 9/10 and 9/24, BART will be conducting critical preventative maintenance work between Daly City and Balboa Park Stations to protect the system from trees that could be knocked down into the trackway during severe weather. The tree removal work will take place from 7am to 7pm.
Service will be reduced to one track. BART riders should anticipate delays of up to 10 minutes on the West Bay Line. Southbound Red Line riders may see up to 15-minute delays. The Green Line is cancelled for those three Sundays. Riders can keep up with the latest service impacts from planned work by going to BART’s Alerts and Advisories page.
Neighbors can expect to see construction vehicles and equipment parked on City streets near the tree removal locations. All equipment will be removed after work is completed each Sunday.
