Paws for Tales

Paws for Tales is a reading program in partnership with the San Mateo County Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA. Children can practice reading out loud while spending 5-10 minutes with a friendly face who also happens to have a wagging tail! Studies have shown that this can increase a child’s confidence, focus, and vocabulary. Children (ages 5 and up) are invited to read virtually to a trained therapy dog. Registration is required.
