Emergency Rental Assistance

The City has provided funding for a COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program for families and individuals impacted by COVID-19. The program is administered by the Daly City Community Service Center and is intended to help households who have experienced a loss of income due to COVID-19 and have no other alternative sources of income, such as paid leave or unemployment insurance. If you are in need of rental assistance due to COVID-19, please submit an online pre-application. Please note that successful pre-application completion does not guarantee rental assistance.

Be prepared to upload these required documents:

  • Written verification that you are unable to pay all or part of your rent due to loss of income from loss or reduction in work hours as a result of COVID-19
  • Lease or Rental Agreement
  • Official ID for all adults in the household
