The City Council adopted an ordinance that expands parking restrictions on street sweeping days throughout the entire City. This action is in response to regulatory compliance to sweep streets in a manner consistent with performance requirements contained in the city's stormwater dischage permit.

Public Works crews will be posting 'No Parking' signs throughout the City, a task that will begin in January, 2008 and finish in March. The current schedule to install signs in the affected areas are shown in the following maps. Full enforcement of the new ordinance in these affected areas will take place four weeks after the signs are installed. During this four week period, Courtesy Notices will be placed on vehicle windshields advising when the new parking enforcement will begin.
