By
permitting and inspecting construction work, the Building
Division assures that the work is done correctly, that
it was done in accordance with the code, and that the
health and life safety of the citizens of Daly City
is protected.
A
final inspection is required upon completion
of the work. It is the responsibility of the person
doing the work to call for, arrange access, and obtain
a final inspection. To schedule an inspection, call
before 3:30 p.m. the working day before the desired
date and have your permit number available.
Homeowners,
before any construction work begins, please make sure your contractor:
-
Has a
permit; and,
-
Obtains
a final inspection after construction work has been
completed.
Request to see the job
card. The inspector, upon successful completion of a
final inspection, should sign it.
