Why
Volunteer?
Being
a City volunteer is a great way to learn new skills, meet
people, and share special talents. The Volunteers in Daly
City program helps civic-minded individuals become involved
in providing enhanced services to the community. Most people
feel their volunteer work is important and fun.
The
program is flexible, and tries to match each volunteer's
needs with the City's. Applicants can receive an information
packet in the mail on request. All candidates are interviewed
prior to placement, and trained once they are on the job.
Computer
literate people are encouraged to apply! For the most current
list of available volunteer jobs, see what's
new. Lists are also kept current at City Hall, at
the Bayshore and Serramonte Libraries and Westlake Park.
Recruitment is open and continuous for the following volunteer
positions:
Community Beautification Volunteer Graffiti Removal Volunteer Police Reserve Officer Tutor
