Comments: During 2002, in cooperation with the Cow Palace and Syufy Properties, the City facilitated the development of a master plan for this area.  When finalized, the master plan will include commercial and residential uses on these vacant or underutilized properties.

The site comprises two separately owned but adjacent parcels. Daly City is proposing development of these two sites as a single project. The Geneva drive-in theater site is 11.1 acres and is owned by the Syufy Theater chain. The Cow Palace north parking lot is recommended in the Master Plan as the location of a new community shopping center.

The City owned property contains 14 acres and has exceptional frontage along Carter and Martin Street. With the construction of Saddleback, Linda Vista and Bay Ridge, over 500 new homes will be added to the immediate area. A combined drive-in/City site has great potential as a centrally located neighborhood-serving commercial site.
