The meeting was called to order by Chair Gomez at 8:02 P.M.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
It was moved by Vice-Chair Klatt, seconded by Director Torres and carried to approve the minutes of January 8, 2007.
It was moved by Director Torres, seconded by Vice-Chair Klatt and carried to approve the Agenda for the January 22, 2007 meeting.
Richard Berger, Economic & Community Development Assistant Director, presented the staff report recommending the Agency accept transfer of award of $1.5 million in California Housing Finance Agency (CALHFA) Housing Enabled by Local Partnership (HELP) Program funds from City of Daly City to Daly City Redevelopment Agency and authorize the Agency Executive Director or her designee to execute all documents associated with these funds and appropriate said funds in the Agency’s budget.
The HELP Program was implemented by CALHFA to provide affordable housing opportunities through program partnership with local government entities. In July 2006, the City was awarded $1.5 million in HELP funds to establish an affordable housing revolving loan program.
It was moved by Vice-Chair Klatt, seconded by Director Torres, and carried by unanimous roll call vote to adopt the following resolution:
A Resolution of the Governing Board of the Daly City Redevelopment Agency Accepting Transfer of Award of CALHFA HELP Funds from City of Daly City
It was moved by Vice-Chair Klatt, seconded by Director Guingona, and carried to adjourn the meeting at 8:04 PM.
