Are you interested in law enforcement? Do you want to get involved in community service? If you said yes to all of these and are between the ages of 14 to 20, then the Daly City Police Explorer program is for you. This is a volunteer position designed for students between the ages of fourteen and twenty who are interested in the field of law enforcement. The Daly City Police Explorer Program provides young men and women with an excellent opportunity to participate in a variety of programs and projects featuring training, skills, development, and service. The Daly City Police Explorer Post is the oldest post in California.
Law Enforcement Explorer posts help young adults to gain insight into a variety of programs that offer hands-on career activities. For young men and women who are interested in careers in the field of law enforcement, Exploring offers essential learning with lots of fun-filled, hands-on activities that promote the growth and development of adolescent youth.
Explorers participate in various charitable and civic projects such as traffic control, public information, assisting in crowd control, search operations, and related activities. Explorers participate and compete in local, regional, and national events, where they interact with explorers from other agencies.
