Measure Q - Voter Information

In response to the feedback we’ve received from the community over the past several months, on July 27th, the Daly City Council unanimously placed Measure Q – The Daly City Local Recovery and Relief Measure on the November ballot for voter consideration.

Measure Q includes tough fiscal accountability by requiring annual independent financial audits, public review of expenditures and ensures that all funds remain in the City of Daly City and cannot be taken by Sacramento. These fiscal safeguards will ensure funds will be used for Daly City’s services and our own local recovery and relief plan.

The November 3rd Election is also Daly City’s Municipal Election and the first statewide all mail-in ballot election in California’s history.  Daly City voters will have the opportunity to select two Councilmembers, the City Clerk and the City Treasurer. Although voting by mail may be familiar to many voters, we will continue to keep you up to date on the changes to voting procedures and necessary information leading up to the election.
