Make A Difference Day 2014
On Saturday, October 25, 2014, Daly City celebrates its 16th consecutive year of participation in Make a Difference Day, a National Day of Volunteerism. Daly City residents are asked to “Make a Difference” by volunteering for several community projects. All volunteers are invited to attend the post-event lunch at 12:00 noon at the City Hall Plaza and Rose Garden. The lunch is sponsored by the Daly City Host Lions Club, Outback Steakhouse, and First National Bank of Northern California.
The City has reached out to the faith-based community, local schools, and various community and neighborhood groups to help organize beautification and clean-up projects across the City. If you have a group that you would like to organize for a clean-up in your neighborhood, please contact Julie Underwood, Assistant City Manager, at email@example.com.
