Notice of Election





            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the DALY CITY General Municipal Election will be consolidated with San Mateo County in the Statewide Gubernatorial Election to be held on Tuesday, the 4th day of November 2014.


            The following offices are to be filled:


                        Member of the City Council (Full term of Four Years)

                        Member of the City Council (Full term of Four Years)

                        Member of the City Council (Full term of Four Years)


            The locations of the Polling Places in Daly City will be the same as provided by the County of San Mateo.


            The polls will open from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.


            Nomination papers shall be furnished by and thereafter filed with the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 333 – 90th Street, Daly City, California, during regular business hours.  The nomination period begins Monday, July 14, 2014 and closes Friday, August 8, 2014.


            If nomination papers for an incumbent elective officer are not filed by 5:00 P.M. on August 8, 2014, the period shall be extended to Wednesday, August 13, 2014.


            Appointment to each elective office may be made if no one or only one person is nominated for an elective office as prescribed by Elections Code Section 10229.
