Teen Services

Voluntutor Program (AYRP)
This program promotes professional growth, personal development and service to the community. It gives teens in 8th-12th grades (13-18 years of age) an opportunity to work in the Afterschool Youth Recreation Program. The volunteens work side by side with Recreators, giving the volunteens opportunities to give back to their neighborhood community and earn service credits for their school (if applicable). Our goal is to prepare youth in our community to become future recreators in our programs. Volunteens will also learn life skills such as: team building, effective communication, leadership roles, and how to be a positive role model to the youth. For more information, please contact us at (650) 991 – 8001.

North County Youth Collective (NCYC)
NCYC encourages others to join the movement of young people making a difference in their communities. We plan events through the leadership and creativity of youth, from coordinating community events to open mic nights to poetry workshops … and many more. GOT AN IDEA?! Let’s make it happen!
WHY JOIN? … Make a difference in the community! Earn community service hours! Gain experience in event planning, PR (public relations), and promotions! Be a leader! Have a voice!

For more information, please call (650) 991-8001. For more information on other teen activities such as aquatics, classes, and sports programs, view our Activity Guide.
