How long will the library be closed?

The libraries are closed to the public in compliance with the shelter-in-place order. Our eLibrary offers free eBooks, eAudiobooks, streaming video, and much more. Join us at one of our online events for all ages. The Library is now offering curbside pickup and holds-by-mail options.

What if my items are due during the closure?

We have extended the due date for all Daly City Public Library materials to June 30, 2020. Due dates for items from other PLS libraries have also been extended.

Can I drop off my materials in outdoor bookdrops?

The bookdrop at the Serramonte Main is currently open and available for return of library materials. Bookdrops at the other branches are closed due to their limited capacity.

What if some of my holds are ready for pick up?

Please explore our curbside pickup and holds-by-mail options.

How can I renew my Library card?

Please contact us at dcplref@plsinfo.org or 650-991-8036 to renew your account.

How can I get a Library card?

Apply for a card online and instantly receive a temporary seven-digit account number. This number can be used to access our eBooks and eAudiobooks on Overdrive. If you would like to access other online offerings, please forward the confirmation e-mail your received when applying to dcplref@plsinfo.org and ask for a regular fourteen-digit card number.
