Features: Storytimes:

The Westlake Library is the second largest of the Daly City Library libraries, with over 60,000 books, audiobooks, music CDs, videos, DVDs, and magazines.

The Westlake Library offers a computer lab with 10 computers, a scanner that can be reserved in advance, wireless internet access, a public-use typewriter, and a photocopier.

The Zone (during school year):     

Wednesdays 2:00pm-4:00pm     
The Library offers creative projects, crafts, board games, and other special activities for students in grades 1-12 after school.  Learn new skills and improve existing ones during this special time for older kids.

Fridays 3:00pm-5:00pm
Teens and Tweens (5th grade and up) wrap up the week with interactive games, conversations, and fun at the Library's Friday afternoon Game Day.

Knitting for Everyone:

3rd Wednesday of the month at 10:30 am
Learn how to knit. Get help finishing your project, and share your progress.

Bouncing Babies: Rhymes & Songs
Wednesday at 10:15am

Join us as we share stories, rhymes and songs for young children to reinforce language development and print awareness for ages 0-23 months, with babies, their parents and/or caregivers.

Storytime
Thursday 10:15am


Thursday storytimes are design for infants to 1st graders, but the whole family is welcome for stories, songs, and coloring.

Pajama Storytime
2nd & 4th Tuesdays at 7:15pm

Kids, bring your teddy bears and wear your PJs to family storytime for children 0-7 years old. Enjoy stories, songs, and mini-crafts or coloring before bed.

Paws for Tales
4th Wednesdays at 4:30pm

Children read to a service dog from the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA. Parents must attend with the child to participate.
