Brunswick Street Apartment Project

4619 Brunswick Street, Daly City (APN 003-210-160)

Use Permit UPR-7-14-9291 and Design Review DR-7-14-9292


Notice is hereby given that the City of Daly City will consider adoption of a Sustainable Communities Environmental Assessment (SCEA) for the above project that was reviewed pursuant to Section 21155.2 of the Public Resources Code (PRC) and a SCEA as specified under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) streamlining provisions offered under SB375 for Transit Priority Projects.


The applicant, AMG & Associates, LLC, is requesting approval to construct a 206-unit senior affordable apartment building located on a vacant 1.15-acre property located on Brunswick Street generally across the street from Chelsea Court.  The proposed project is a mixed-use building, consisting of both residential and office/commercial uses, in one five-story building, above a two-level podium parking garage. The General Plan land use designation for the proposed is C-MU Commercial- Mixed Use and the parcel is zoned C-2 Heavy Commercial, which allows the project subject to use permit approval.


The public review period for the Draft SCEA begins on August 28, 2015, and ends on September 28, 2015.  Persons interested in reviewing the Draft SCEA may review the document below or by visiting the Planning Division offices or City Clerk at 333 90th Street, or at the Serramonte Main Library Branch, located at 40 Wembley Drive in Daly City.


Written Comments related to SCEA must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 28, and shall be provided to:

The Planning Commission and City Council are tentatively scheduled to consider this project on November 3, 2015, and December 14, 2015, respectively. Both meetings begin at 7:00 P.M. in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 333 90th Street, Daly City.
