  • Public Needs Hearing for FY20-21 Action Plan will be on Monday, December 9, 2019.    The City annually receives Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.  These funds are used to help address the housing and community development needs of lower income residents.  The public is invited to provide input on the housing and community development needs facing lower income residents.

  • Free Minor Home Repairs  Daly City’s Residential Rehabilitation Programs offer grants and low-interest loans to eligible low-income homeowners and rental property owners (whose units are occupied by 51% or more low-income renters) for a variety of minor home improvements. Lower-income Daly City residents may also be eligible for non-profit agencies' housing rehabilitation programs offering free home improvements.
