FAMILY HEALTH FAIR COMES TO SERRAMONTE CENTER

Daly City, CA – Have you wanted to stop by the Health Clinic lately but haven’t found the time? On Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., a Family Health Fair will be held at Serramonte Center in Daly City to provide screenings and healthy tips for family members of all ages. Various health organizations will offer on site screenings, useful information, and additional referrals to interested residents.

Health agencies participating will include The Asian American Donor Program, Mills Peninsula Health Services, San Mateo County Health Department, Seton Medical Center, and Strides for Life – Colossal Colon. Exhibitors will have information on ways to create a healthy lifestyle, as well as to record one’s personal health information.

Throughout the event, children will be able to enjoy face painting. In addition, there will be raffle drawings for prizes donated from various local companies and agencies.

The annual event is sponsored by the Daly City ACCESS program. Daly City ACCESS is a collaboration of community-based service agencies and individuals that formed in 2001 and is sponsored by the Senior/Adult Division of the Daly City Parks and Recreation Department.
