FILIPINA ANTHOLOGY WRITERS TO READ AT DALY CITY LIBRARY BOOK CLUB

Daly City – The editor and contributing writers of the newly published anthology, Going Home to a Landscape: Writings by Filipinas, will be the featured guests of the Daly City Library on March 11, 2004. The Second Thursday Book Club will host the book reading, scheduled to start at 2 p.m. in the Serramonte Library Community Room, located at 40 Wembley Drive in Daly City. The public is welcomed to join the authors as they share their work with the community.

Marianne Villanueva, the anthology book editor, will be joined by writers Veronica Montes, Henrietta Chico-Nofre and Jean Vengua Gier in presenting selected readings from this collection of poetry, essays and short stories. Published late 2003 by Calyx Press, the collection includes personal histories and memories of 52 contributors.
