TO OFFER FREE LIVE-SAVING TRAINING TIPS

Daly City Fire Department Joins County Agencies
In ‘Hands-On’ Instructional Seminar for Shoppers


Daly City – CPR Saturday, a county-wide community education program sponsored by a collaborative group of agencies in San Mateo County, will be held on Saturday, February 7, at Serramonte Center, adjacent to Target. The first of two 90-minute sessions will start at 12:30 p.m. The second class will begin at 2:30 p.m. The workshops will include a 30-minute introductory lecture on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as well as hands-on demonstration. Seating will be limited to the first 60 attendees for each session. The classes are open to the public, free of charge.

“We urge Daly City residents to take full advantage of these free mini-courses. The life-saving lessons are worth learning, and sharing with your family and friends,” DCFD Fire Marshal Dave Dewey emphasized.

Participating agencies include the San Mateo County Health Department’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS), American Medical Response (AMR), the American Heart Association, along with several fire departments throughout the county including the Daly City Fire Department and the Burlingame Fire Department.
