All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast 'Best' Choice At Annual Event
Daly City – "More Pancakes, Anyone?"

If pancakes with strawberry topping, sausage, scrambled eggs, orange juice and coffee are your "cup of tea" for a Sunday breakfast, then make Westlake Park your destination on October 7. The City Council and the Supporters of the Doelger Senior Center will once again host the annual Daly City Fall Festival for the local senior community.

Starting at 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at 101 Lake Merced Blvd., the City Council of Daly City will host the complementary breakfast for members of the community. For a nominal fee of $1.50, non-residents can also enjoy the great food, live music and entertainment.

Live music will be provided by the San Mateo Elks Band and Walter Traverso on accordion. "Dia De Las Americas", an international fashion show, will display costumes from different countries, followed by five dance demonstrations by the models. In addition, various classes offered by the Parks and Recreation department will be exhibited, including Tai Chi, Afro-American Line Dancing, Hawaiian Dancing, Chinese Dancing, and Modeling.

A bake sale, palm reading, paintings, ceramics and even a floral / plant contest will also be in the program. With a $1,000 top prize and sponsored by the Supporters of the Doelger Senior Center, a raffle is scheduled towards the end of the event. Other possible prizes for the $1 ticket include a camcorder, color TV, and four box seat tickets to the Grand National Rodeo.

Lunch, which will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at $3.50 per person, will take on an international flavor with an array of cuisines from different countries.

Transportation will be provided to and from Westlake Park at various locations in Daly City. For more information, call (650) 991-8012.

The Supporters of the Doelger Senior Center is a non-profit, charitable organization which has supported Daly City's Doelger Senior Center since its inception. Proceeds from the annual celebration will fund the center's services and programs offered to the Daly City senior adult community.
