Free E-waste drop-off event Saturday, October 8
If you purchased a new television or computer and haven’t yet disposed of the old one, now you have an opportunity to do so. Daly City is hosting a FREE electronic waste recycling collection event Saturday, October 8. The event will be held in the main parking lot at City Hall, 333 90th Street, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This event is for electronics only – including televisions, computers and cell phones. Appliances (including microwave ovens) and household hazardous waste will NOT be accepted at the event.

Whether you are getting rid of an obsolete handheld device or a big-screen television, dropping off e-waste at City Hall is quick and effortless. You won’t have to leave your car – all of your e-waste will be unloaded by professional staff from Neuwaste Business Recycling. And unlike those anonymous curbside e-waste collectors you may have encountered in your neighborhood, we will never ask you to disclose your name and address. We want your e-waste, not your identity!

The following items will be accepted at the collection: Monitors, televisions, computers, printers, networking devices, wire, CD and DVD players, Blu-ray players, discs (all kinds), cell phones, scanners, tape players, record players, video game consoles, laptops, surge protectors, small copiers, musical instruments, amplifiers, and cameras.
