Free parent/child water-wise workshop offered Saturday, April 14

A free family-friendly water-wise workshop is being offered at the Serramonte Library, 40 Wembley Drive, on Saturday, April 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Registration Required. To register, visit or call (650) 349-3000.

Instructor Noelle Marquis will demonstrate how to create a space for outdoor learning and play! Workshop attendees will visit the Bioswale site located in front of the library to see water conserving techniques.

Noelle Marquis owns and operates a permaculture based landscape design business. She enjoys creating beautiful and functional landscapes that maintains healthy soils, has natural play areas with edibles, and uses natives and water-efficient plants. She has been an environmental educator and gardening teacher for the past 10 years.
