Fundraiser to Benefit Typhoon Haiyan Victims Slated for Friday, November 22

Members of the Daly City Filipino-American community are staging a fundraiser to benefit victims of Typhoon Haiyan.  The event will take place Friday, November 22, 2013 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Café Doelger, 101 Lake Merced Blvd. (Westlake Park), Daly City.  The event is co-sponsored by the Pilipino Bayanihan Resource Center (PBRC), a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Daly City.

PBRC is also collecting donations for typhoon victims now through Monday, November 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day at its office, 2121 Junipero Serra Blvd., Daly City.  Items they are seeking include non-perishable food, flashlights, batteries, and hygiene products.  Monetary donations are welcome.
