Street Restoration Project on Sullivan Ave. in Daly City

On Monday, November 15, 2010, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission will begin to remove the existing traffic striping and pavement markers along Sullivan Avenue from just north of Garden Lane to the southerly limits of Sullivan Avenue at Pierce Street. Over a planned five day period, crews will then seal pavement cracks and complete a slurry seal for the entire length of Sullivan Avenue from Garden Lane to Pierce Street.

Traffic detours and no parking signs will be posted along Sullivan Avenue. Expect traffic and pedestrian delays on Sullivan and the intersecting streets.

To avoid delays in getting out of your garage or driveway onto Sullivan Avenue next week, you may wish to move cars before 8 a.m. Also follow the posted warning signs and steer clear of driving or walking on the sealing material for 24 hours.

Re-striping will take place from November 22 to November 30. Work hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays except holidays.

Your patience and understanding is appreciated in advance.
