Public Notice: Unclaimed Funds

 

NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN pursuant to California Government Code Section 50050 that the following list of disbursements have been held by the Director of Finance and Administrative Services, City of Daly City and have remained unclaimed in the funds for a period of over three (3) years and will become the property of City of Daly City on the 16th day of October 2018 at 5:00pm.

Any party of interest may, prior to the date and time designated above, file a claim with the Director of Finance and Administrative Services, City of Daly City. Proper proof of claim and current identification must be provided before funds will be released. The Director of Finance and Administrative Services may accept or reject the claim. If rejected, the party submitting the claim may, within 30 days of receiving notice of rejection, file and serve on the Director of Finance and Administrative Services a verified complaint seeking to recover all, or a designated part, of the unclaimed funds.

Claim forms and supporting materials must be physically received by the City of Daly City, Finance and Administrative Services Department before 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 16th, 2018. Postmarks not accepted. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing.
