Trivia Challenge is an annual fundraising benefit for Project Read, a free tutoring program for adults who struggle with basic reading and writing. The fundraising event is scheduled for Friday, November 1, at the South San Francisco Conference Center, 255 South Airport Blvd. Teams of three from throughout the region compete in a fast paced, entertaining evening of trivia.
In addition to the trivia contest, the evening includes a silent auction and raffle, and buffet dinner. Last year more than 400 community members, business leaders, and friends of Project Read attended this exciting event.
Teams of three representing businesses, clubs, schools, government agencies, city departments, and groups of individuals come yearly to this entertaining event. The cost per team is $400.00. Team fee includes dinner for team members. All profits go to support Project Read. Buffet dinner starts at 6:15 pm. with Trivia Challenge starting at 7:15 pm.
