Public Hearing Slated to Consider Traffic Signal at Lake Merced Blvd. and John Muir Dr.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is planning to install a traffic signal at the intersection of Lake Merced Boulevard and John Muir Drive. The project will include closing the free right-turn lane from eastbound John Muir Drive to southbound Lake Merced Boulevard by installing delineators along John Muir Drive at the entrance to the eastbound free right-turn lane. A new right-turn lane will be installed on John Muir Drive at the intersection. SFMTA will hold a public hearing on Friday, May 31, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., in Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), San Francisco City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, San Francisco, CA 94102 to consider the project.

The purpose of the public hearing is for residents to express their concerns regarding the proposed project. Any interested parties are encouraged to attend. A copy of the agenda is available at:
