The Registration and Elections Division of San Mateo County is seeking citizens to fill important positions on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 2013. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of democracy while making a difference in your community. Poll Workers are required to attend a training class to be eligible to work on Election Day. The County pays a stipend of $140.00 for Inspectors (those in charge of the precinct) and $115.00 for Judges.
To be an Election Officer, you must be:
- A registered voter in the State of California
- Able to read and write English
- Work from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 9:30 p.m. on Election Day
