City Council Study Session on Parking, Mon. Jun. 24 at 5:30pm

We know that parking is a major concern for many residents in Daly City. The City is about to kick off an initiative to research the issue and find solutions. Join us for the City Council Study Session on Monday, June 24, at 5:30pm in Council Chambers at City Hall (333 90th St).

At this Study Session, staff will review the history of parking efforts the City has pursued in the past 15 years, detail current parking regulations where they exist, discuss the varying parking challenges across our neighborhoods and lay out an initial suite of options to move the initiative forward with robust public involvement. Study Sessions are special meetings focused on information gathering and discussion, and do not involve any voting by the City Council. Staff will request direction from City Councilmembers on the structure of the parking initiative, including public outreach. This meeting is open to the public and you are all invited to attend!

If you cannot attend, do not worry. You can watch live on our public access channel (Comcast Channel 27, ATT U-Verse Channel 99, Astound Channel 26). The video will also be posted to the City’s YouTube Channel after the meeting. In addition, there will be many upcoming opportunities to share your opinion as part of our public input program.

If you would like to join our email distribution list to be notified of future opportunities, email Stephen Stolte at sstolte@dalycity.org or call (650) 991-8126. If you reach a voicemail, please leave your full name, phone number and most importantly, your email address.

The City is looking forward to tackling this very challenging and complex issue and will rely on the involvement of all our residents to chart the best course forward. We know that opinions on parking differ dramatically among the population. Please do consider participating when the public outreach program begins!
