Alarm System Permits – Correction to Letters/Invoices

 

Attention Daly City Alarm System Permit Holders:

You may have received a bill for your alarm permit and we want to clear up any confusion. The alarm permit is a $25 annual permit required by the City of Daly City’s Police Department for anyone that installs a burglar alarm system. More info on this permit can be found on the City’s website

The Police Department uses a company called PMAM Corporation, based in Texas, to conduct the billing and administer the permits. The annual permit renewals that you may have recently received were issued by this company under the name “False Alarm Reduction Program.” Due to an error in printing, the bill did not include the complete Customer Service phone number. The correct number is 1-877-356-7119. Bills were sent to all permit holders, including those who are exempt from the annual fee. If you are 60 years or older and do not conduct business out of your home, you do not have to pay an annual fee.
